Powerful Prayer

Here’s a powerful and beautiful dua (prayer), from the heart of Tawhid. It speaks to people in today’s world, in plain and simple language, and we pray it stays true to the meaning:
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِأَنَّكَ أَنْتَ اللَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ الْأَحَدُ الصَّمَدُ الَّذِي لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ،
"O Allah, I ask You because You are Truly Allah —
There is none worthy of worship except You,
The One, the Absolute,
Who neither gives birth nor was born,
And there is none equal to You."
About the dua (prayer) - The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
“He has asked Allah by His Greatest Name —
the One that, when He is asked by it, He gives;
and when He is called on with it, He answers.”
