Muslims, please share the chapters and verses of Maryam (Mary) in the Holy Quran, with Christian relatives, friends and neighbors. They can see the honor and respect we, as Muslims, have for the mother of Jesus, peace and blessing be on to them.

Maryam (Mary), the mother of Jesus (peace be upon them), is mentioned many times in the Quran, with a whole chapter named after her — Maryam (Chapter 19). Here are places in the Quran, she is honored.

Surah Aal-e-Imran (3:35-37, 42-47) –
Her birth, upbringing under Prophet Zakariya (Zechariah), and the angels announcing that she has been chosen above all women. -
Surah Maryam (19:16-36) –
A detailed account of the miraculous birth of Jesus (peace be upon him) and Mary's encounter with Angel Jibreel (Gabriel). -
Surah Al-Anbiya (21:91) –
Mention of Mary and the miraculous nature of Jesus' birth. -
Surah At-Tahrim (66:12) –
Mary is praised for her chastity and devotion. -
