Here's one of many stories from news sources around the world (but is it all true?)

A "Shariah compliant" sex shop offering 'sensual aids' is reportedly set to open in Makkah. 
El Asira, which will stock 'Islamically approved' adult items.
According to reports this week, the shop is due to open after the idea was approved by Saudi scholars.
Owned by Abdelaziz Aouragh, who runs the establishment in Amsterdam, the shop known as El Asira is recognized for its range of sensual oils...

(there are many other similar stories published in the last 3 days - but now we know more)

We now know a lot more about this story that claims a “Halal” sex shop is soon to open in the Harem area of Makkah (Islam’s most Holy City - prayers offered there are 100,000 times more than anywhere else on earth) - has gone viral in recent days.

However this story is based on lies - not the truth

Let’s start with the Arabic website claiming to present Moroccan news: Alyaoum24

Definitely appears they made up, added to and falsified information in a way to make people think the story was about Saudi’s scholars approving a “Sex-Shop” in Makkah. Nothing could be further from the truth.

The Arabic language website used a purposely misleading headline and “doctored up” story to create fitnah (chaos) and make their story go viral on the Internet.

A story released April 12, 2015 on the Moroccan news site: Alyaoum24 story titled - "Moroccan intends to open a Halal sex shop in Makkah"

The fact is a Moroccan businessman, named Abdelaziz Aouragh, who does own a sex products business, did give the statement, his business is “willing to open a sex shop in Makkah”! - but it was in a different interview, not indicating there was anything agreed upon or even discussed with people in Saudi Arabi.
This definitely does not match up with the headline story, does it?

Next the British daily named, “The Independent” further falsified the story and claimed the “sex-shop” was opening in Makkah, saying their source was Alyaoum24, even though it is clear even these statements did not appear.
NOTE: We’re still waiting for “The Independent” to admit this was a total distortion and fabrication…

shariah compliant sex items' islam is not the property of saudi's elite group for them to make laws in the name of shariah to suite their whims and fancies. what is the best way to negate such a move?

Well evil has has his way to slip into good ,what Allah swt ment to be a sacred act between husband and wife, it is ok in the privacy of "hujra"bead room but to enjoy each other but thier is a boundaries and limitations, when a good act turn into lust of the nody of a wife or husband and than it becomes a sin so as Muslims we need to be careful of the boundaries which Allah swt created for moderation is taught by our Nabi elah salt o salam. So we must adhere to his teach and that is the gauge we should use..

.. What will be left of Salaat? It is said salaah forbids indecency & bad deeds. Sex shops are indecent. If Saudi government officials & scholars allow it, they have "NO SALAAT" or their salaat are meaningless. A person without salaat is "kufr". They can set up sex shops in Israel because they are allies but not in the city of Muslims.

We don't know what we will find over there but the main question should be "Why do they need to do this in Mecca? Can't they leave this place sacred and open that anywhere else?!?".
People come to Mecca from everywhere in the world to get away from all those kind of things.
