Media Reports Told Us: "Doctor shot in Boston hospital - Police Capture Suspect Now in Custody"

EDITOR ISLAM NEWSROOM - Headlines Should Have Said: Killer Shoots Doctor - Then Shoots himself

Another clear "Missed-Media" report - They said "Police Capture Killer" & "Suspect in Custody" (remember yestereday??)

Now the truth - "MURDER - SUICIDE" - Doctor shot dead, killer shoots himself.

The heart surgeon shot Tuesday inside Brigham and Women's hospital in Boston died from his injuries.  Dr. Michael J. Davidson, 44, the director of endovascular cardiac surgery, was married and had three children. He was in surgery Tuesday evening and died later at 10:45 p.m.

"Dr. Davidson was a wonderful and inspiring cardiac surgeon who devoted his career to saving lives and improving the quality of life of every patient he cared for," the hospital said in a statement.

"It is truly devastating that his own life was taken in this horrible manner."

Authorities said Stephen Pasceri, 55, entered the second floor of the Carl J. and Ruth Shapiro Cardiovascular Center sometime before 11 a.m. and specifically requested to see Davidson.

Pasceri, of Millbury, shot the doctor twice just outside an examination room.

Evans said police were on the scene within seconds after getting the first calls of shots fired and had the area secured within 15 minutes.

Betsy Nabel, the hospital's president, said Brigham and Women's will evaluate its safety protocols. She said there have been no discussions about installing metal detectors, which none of the city's hospitals have.

Mayor Marty Walsh released a statement early Wednesday morning, calling the tragedy a "senseless act of violence" that has no place in Boston. "My thoughts and prayers are with his family and his colleagues at Brigham and Women's Hospital during this difficult time."

Editor: There was no "capture of suspect" and no "killer in custody" and not "terrorist stalking Boston killing surgeons" -
Just another big MEDIA BUST

This is a classic example of a story that isn't what it appears to be. First, we hear the "suspect is in custody" then 4 hrs later we hear he's found in an exam room dead from an "apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head". How can these two versions, world's apart, be reconciled? Is this just an example of sloppy journalism or is it a way of buying the authorities time to concoct their offical narrative with all the loose ends neatly tied?
