U.S. Troops Burning Qurans-Again?
Why Not Read A Quran Instead?
U.S. Troops Burn More Qurans in Afghanistan (again)
Kunduz, Afghanistan - Sunday, February 26, 2012 -- Islam Newsroom reporting
U.S. Troops here have started up another series of demonstrations, outcries and killings - this time over more Quran burning . . . Read . .
Not content to leave well enough alone, millitary in Afhganistan decided to do a farewell "roast" while they were "cleaning up" before returning home.
Time to burn the Quran (again) - Only this time things are really back-firing on our troops.
Officials in Afghanistan said a number of demonstrators have been killed (why did demonstrators have to be killed? What did they burn? - They didn't burn Quran - they just read Quran)
All of this is in relation to U.S. troops burning more Qurans last week. They must have forgotten how much Muslims love and respect the hold books of God. (Did you know - Muslims also forbid the disrespect of the Bible, New Testament and Old Testament?)
For sure, in less than a week, things have turned violent in this part of the world. But it appears the real loss is on the side of the folks who live there. After 6 days of demonstration and more burning of Qurans, many locals are left dead, injured.
Obama's spokesperson has officially called this insult against the people of Afghanistan and Islam in general, quote - "a mistake" and apologizes to the Afghani government. That has done nothing to bring about resolution, nor have these demonstrations quited down even a little bit.
In fact, things appear to be getting worse. More are demonstrating, more are being wounded and more are dying (and more Qurans burning?)
Today (Sunday, February 26, 2012) violence broke out when demonstrators attempted to enter into the Kunduz region's district called Imam Sahib, according to the administrator there.
Government spokesman says crowd was shooting at the police and throwing hand grenades at the United States Base close to the area.
Fear and confusion complicates matters, as mixed reports concerning who actually is doing the shooting, the burning and who are the guilty parties all around.
Initially NATO reported there seemed to be no attacks or deaths of the international service members at the time of the report.
More on this story will be released as it comes into our News Room . . . (inshallah)

Here is the AP story off the wire - -
KABUL, Afghanistan (AP) — Afghan authorities said Sunday they have identified a suspect in the killing of two U.S. military advisers inside an Afghan ministry a day earlier and have launched a manhunt to track him down.
NATO and the British government recalled their international advisers from Afghan ministries in the capital late Saturday after two advisers — a lieutenant colonel and a major — were found dead in their office, shot in the back of the head. The names of the victims have not been released.
The attack came after days of violent protests over the burning of copies of the Quran at a U.S. base last week.
About 30 people have been killed in the violence since it emerged Tuesday that copies of the Muslim holy book and other religious materials had been thrown into a fire pit used to burn garbage at Bagram Air Field, a large U.S. base north of Kabul.
Four U.S. soldiers are among the dead — two killed earlier in the week by an Afghan soldier, and two military advisers shot dead Saturday at the Interior Ministry.
"There is a suspect who is an employee of the Interior Ministry. He has been identified. Right now the police are trying to arrest him. He is on the run," the Afghan Interior Ministry said in a statement, citing initial findings by investigators.
Afghan President Hamid Karzai renewed his calls for calm in a televised address to the nation Sunday.
"Now is the time to return to calm and not let our enemies use this situation," he said. Asked about the unprecedented recall of NATO staff, Karzai said it was understandable.
"It is a temporary step at a time when the people of Afghanistan are angry over the burning of the holy Quran," Karzai said.
Taliban claims shooter was a member and helped shooter enter compound to kill US Troops as pay-back for burning Qurans.
Members of the international military coalition described the removal of advisers as a temporary security measure, stressing that they did not expect it to affect partnerships with the Afghans that are key to preparing the country's security forces to take on more responsibility as international troops draw down.
"We continue to move forward and stand by our Afghan partners in this campaign. We will not let this divide the coalition," said Lt. Col. Jimmie Cummings, a spokesman for the international force. The NATO recall affects advisers numbered "in the low hundreds," Cummings said.
Message to Muslims - Stop Killing each other and non-Muslims over this - Let it go for now. This is not the big issue, is it? Yes! We should tell them, even stand up in the face of danger to explain what we believe and what it all means to us. But, our prophet, peace be upon him, did not do this at At-Taif when the pagans were throwing rocks on him.
And he, peace be upon him, did not allow companions to injure the one who urinated in the masjid - true or not?
This is not the behavior of good believers - So let's pray for these people and show them our best character (please?)

Obama caliing this whole thing a mistake is a lie. he knew things like this would happen when the US illegally invaded afghanistan. He's wants to fool the public into thinking that the US doesn't have a problem with islam.
It's a shame that these people call themselves christians.
