Pens or Pencils

Pens can be like people in so many ways. Compare the 'personality' the pen to the characterists of a 'good pencil' mentioned in our article about "Advice to a Pencil"

The Personality of the "Pen":

1:  Pens need not be concerned about staying "sharp."

2: Only when it sheds black blood from its tip does it work.

3: Pens spread the borrowed ink of idelology (kufr - disbelief)

4: The pen makes mistakes most difficult to correct.

5: The pen often leaves its mark in wrong places (clothing, furniture etc.)

6: The pen becomes blunt and ceases to preform even with small pressure on its tip.

7: The pen's appearance is often well decorated, yet it's made from cheap plastic or metal.

8: The pen's impressive appearance remains long after it no longer serves its purpose.

9: The pen has nothing natural or authentic about it.

Sadly enough pens seem to be rapidly replacing pencils more and more everyday.

___The old saying goes,
"You can fool some of the people all of the time; all of the people some of the time; but you can't fool all of the people all of the time."

 Allah the Almighty, says in His Quran (Recitation) in Surah Al Anbiya (The Prophets) [21:18]:

 بَلْ نَقْذِفُ بِالْحَقِّ عَلَى الْبَاطِلِ فَيَدْمَغُهُ فَإِذَا هُوَ زَاهِقٌ وَلَكُمُ الْوَيْلُ مِمَّا
تَصِفُونَ

Pronounced: "Bal naqthifu bialhaqqi AAala albatili fayad-maghuhu fa-itha huwa zahiqun walakumu alwaylu mimma tasifoona"
Nay, Allah flings (sends down) the truth (this Qur'an) against the falsehood (disbelief), so it destroys it, and behold, it (falsehood) is vanished. And woe to you for that (lie) which you ascribe (to Us) (against Allah by uttering that Allah has a wife and a son).
Qu'ran 21:18

 

And Allah says in Surah Al-Isra' [17:81-84]

 وَقُلْ جَاء الْحَقُّ وَزَهَقَ الْبَاطِلُ إِنَّ الْبَاطِلَ كَانَ زَهُوقًا

Pronounciation: Waqul jaa alhaqqu wazahaqa albatilu inna albatila kana zahooqan 
 And say: "Al Haqq (The Truth) has come and al-batil (the falsehood) has vanished. Surely! Batil (falsehood) is always bound to vanish." 17:81

 وَنُنَزِّلُ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ مَا هُوَ شِفَاء وَرَحْمَةٌ لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَلاَ يَزِيدُ الظَّالِمِينَ إَلاَّ خَسَارًا 

Pronounciation:  Wanunazzilu mina alqur-ani ma huwa shifaon warahmatun lilmu'mineena wala yazeedu alththalimeena illa khasaran 
 And Allah send down from the Qur'an healing and mercy to those who believe, and it increases the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers) nothing but loss.  17:82

 وَإِذَا أَنْعَمْنَا عَلَى الإِنسَانِ أَعْرَضَ وَنَأَى بِجَانِبِهِ وَإِذَا مَسَّهُ الشَّرُّ كَانَ يَؤُوسًا 
 

Pronounciation:   Wa-itha anAAamna AAala al-insani aAArada wanaa bijanibihi wa-itha massahu alshsharru kana yaoosan 
 And whenever Allah Bestows His Grace upon mankind, he truns away in arrogance, far away from the Right Path. And whenever any evil touches him, he is in great dispair. 17:83

 قُلْ كُلٌّ يَعْمَلُ عَلَى شَاكِلَتِهِ فَرَبُّكُمْ أَعْلَمُ بِمَنْ هُوَ أَهْدَى سَبِيلاً 

Pronounciation:   Qul kullun yaAAmalu AAala shakilatihi farabbukum aAAlamu biman huwa ahda sabeelan 
 Say: "Each one does according to Shakilatihi (his way, intentions or his religion), and your Lord knows best of him whose path is right."  17:84
