Today we see those things happening in front of four very eyes.
Ancient artifacts, pre-historic discoveries and writings predating anything previously known coming from the areas all around the land and sea in many areas, like in this story just happening 110 miles south of the Suez.
CAIRO – April 10, 2013 Egypt's state minister of antiquities, Mohammed Ibrahim says a Franco-Egyptian exploration team has discovered a Red Sea port dating back about 4,500 years to Great Pyramid builder King Cheops of the Fourth Dynasty of the Old Kingdom.
He also said Thursday, the port was discovered at Wadi el-Jarf (The Valley of Jarf), 180 kilometers (110 miles) south of Suez. And he said copper was one of the things being transfer through this port city on its way to the Nile valley coming from the Sinai Penninsula.
The team working in the Suez archaeological area also discovered hieroglyphic papyri, considered the oldest found in Egypt.
Ancient writings on the payrus disclose many detials about the lives of the people working and living in the port area. Majority date to the time of the dynasty of the reign of Cheop (also known as - Khufu)
All the findings including the ancient hieroglyphic papyrus have now been relocated to the museum in Suez for classification and determination of categorical listings for future display.
