Reports from Kabul, Afghanistan - Wednesday Sept. 14, 2011 -- Taliban fires rockets toward US Embassy & NATO Headquarters in captilal city of Kabul
Afghan Polics Confirm Attacks. NATO Led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) spokesman confirms attacks. U.S. A. Embassy remains silent concerning offensive.
"Today at one o'clock (locat time) at Kabul's Abdul Haq roundabout a massive suicide attack on local and foreign intelligence facilities is ongoing," said Taliban spokesman.
A spokesman for ISAF confirms the attack, but the US embassy did not comment on the offensive.
ISAF spokesman quoted as saying, "There will be more attacks in center of Kabul"
Deaths and injury reports have not yet surfaced.
Tuesday, September 13, -- Taliban Spokesman, Zabihullah said they will be responsibe for attack and numerous Taliban fighters with rocket propelled grenades are in position located in tall buildings in Kabul. Location is reported to be near embassy district, close to government buildings.
