Yusuf Estes reports many phone calls today (Monday 13th September) asking for free Qurans
So they can BURN THEM

"A lady called and asked for free Qurans to burn up. I asked her if she had read it. She said 'No' When I tried to tell her Quran orders us to believe in Bible, to be good to Christians and Jews and for Muslims to respect people rights - She hung up as soon as she found out I was Muslim"
"...one man called saying he wants to order a truck load of Qurans - to put on a mosque in his area - to burn the mosque to the ground.."
"Other calls are coming in like never before and I have not seen something like this - so much hatred.."
"We need to get the Muslim Message out to the people - NOW..."

to be honest when i first heard the news i was like" WHAT'S GOING ON?" but i can't say i was surprised.altho ugh i was surprised to know that people are actually protesting for the mosque not to be built in America. i mean i thought it was a FREE COUNTRY. anyways, i agree that burning it would not put a light of islam out. so i suggest they get used to us!!! ALLAH IS GREAT

I believe that when it comes to Allah's Word it has already been burned into the hearts of the believers. burning a copy of the Qur'an would not destroy it, it would only destoy the paper, glue and ink that contains it. May Allah continue to burn in our hears the fire of iman and desire for His Word, the Qur'an. Amin.

As much as i feel that our new canadians should not be allowed to protest our lord's prayer or our canadian traditions, this Quran burning is so wrong. This would be no different there was burning of our Bible. I feel this man is bitter or angry about alot of things in his life. We have always been receptive and respectful of our our new canadians and their traditional__/r eligious beliefs. I only hope that this man comes to his senses before September 11. So many people just want to remember those that were lost and honour them.

All praises to Allah (swt) and with due to all respect to Sheikh it is not the matter of Islamic ruling on burning Quran, the reason they are burning Quran to reject the message of Almighty and insult the book of AL-Qahar and his messengers similarly at the time of Ibrahim (AS) they wanted to burn him because his of his message not because of his family or clan. Allah (swt) saved Ibrahim (AS) from fire because he did what Allah commanded him to do. If we Muslims do what Allah has commended us to do in Quran than Allah will establish HUJ-JAT on non-believers so no one person / state or church will have a power to insult his book._“Indeed there has been an excellent example for you in Ibraaheem (Abraham) and those with him, when they said to their people: ‘Verily, we are free from you and whatever you worship besides Allaah, we have rejected you, and there has started between us and you, hostility and hatred for ever until you believe in Allaah Alone’”[al-Mumt ahanah 60:4]
