Residents in the "City of Angels" are becoming more and more aware of the increasing number of earthquakes and the higher magnitudes (force) coming every day.
Over the last 50 years, five major quakes larger than magnitude 5 have struck the San Jacinto fault zone. The last one was on Easter 2010, the one before it occurred in June 2005
