Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah
There are numerous peoples and scholars who do dawah on Facebook. Should they stop using facebook?. If there are peoples in your cities who do crime or malign islam. Should we leave our cities? OR should we try to correct them in any way possible?
Dawah is obligation to every single muslim. So rather saying to avoid we should encourage them to become a daee and to recommend everyone to the truth i.e. the message of islam.
Internet (especially social networking sites e.g. Facebook and chat sites e.g. Yahoo chat) can be a great platform for dawah purposes where we can spread the message of islam (Qur'an and Authentic Hadiths) to thousands and millions of peoples with a single click. We can debate with non-muslims, try to convince and revert them to islam, exactly as we do in person.
