BIBLE AND QURAN
Comparing the Bible to the Quran is a bit unfair, as “bibil” only means “book” - while Quran means "Recitation" (that which is recited). The Bible is people “inspired to write things of God” to write their stories or stories they have heard.
The Quran is actually, "God's final word, directly to mankind" (in Arabic, to be preserved by reciting).
There is no “original” of any books in the Bible, (“only a copy, of a copy, of a copy, of a copy, of a copy, of a copy”, according to Bart Ehram, a professor of Biblical development).
Most folks are confused over differences between the Bible and Quran.
However, this is understandable from the point of view of Muslim scholars. The tell us the biggest difference is, “We have the Quran (Reciting of the Word of Allah) and the Bible has people’s thoughts and feelings about the Words of Allah, mixed Sewith the words and actions of people.
Quran contains references to more than fifty people and events also found in the Bible. While the stories told in each book are somewhat comparable, there are also some notable differences.
The Quran focuses on worship and moral issues, rather than details. Biblical stories coming from diverse sources and unknown authors, so their attention to detail varies individually.
While the Quran (in Arabic) is the actual words of God (‘Allah’), to Gabriel (Jibril), then to Muhammad, peace be upon him.
